Are we going to get to 1114 on 11-14?
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

11/14/2019 at 7:40 am #2064676In the words of Barry Manilow, Looks like we made it! 1114 in 11/14. I hope the weather doesn’t keep people from the GIFFs.
11/14/2019 at 7:53 am #2064677Posting on 11/14 on page 1114.
I used to spear diem carpe in the river on our farm many years ago.
11/14/2019 at 8:39 am #2064678I’m checking in on page 1,114 on 11/14.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

11/14/2019 at 12:52 pm #2064680Service Day today in Adams. I took kids to Grand Marsh to help the VFW remove flags from veterans’ graves. Very good experience. Was hoping we’d get to the cemetery with the multicache based around the winner of the Distinguished Flying Cross, but we went to the west of town instead.
Very proud of our kids and their behavior. I had a group that is normally very rough here at school, but they were absolutely model school representatives while working with the vets.
Avoided talking politics while representing our school with someone that was obviously my polar opposite, so I am proud of that too.
Downside: zero (unfound) caches, munzees or pokestops were located at the cemeteries.
The best sig is no sig.
11/14/2019 at 4:41 pm #2064681In about an hour, I get to fight with our non-functioning garage door (opener isn’t working) to head into LaCrosse for my first storytelling gig in about forever. I’ve been practicing, not too much, just enough, so I feel primed. It’ll be nice to reconnect with some of my storytelling pals somewhere other than the book of faces, too.
Biggest pain is putting on makeup. I suppose I could skip it, but I figure I should at least try.

11/14/2019 at 9:32 pm #2064689munzees
I’m on a cap streak of well over a month. It happens I live within range of a POI munzee, so at worse, I can cap that one. The best case is that I can get out and cap a bunch of physical munzees because there are big time players around here who have pretty much covered their respective areas of Green Bay with a butt load of munzees.

11/14/2019 at 9:59 pm #2064690Tomorrow is National Bundt Day. Start baking!
11/14/2019 at 10:01 pm #2064691It’s also National Clean Out Your Refrigerator Day … I think I’ll pass on that one.

11/15/2019 at 6:17 am #2064693If you like Challenge Caches, The TCC Crew, is hiding some 130 of these on the Tri-County Corridor between Superior and Ashland, WI over 40 are published to date with more to come. Right now they are out there from Superior to Maple. I used a Fat Bike yesterday to grab a few FTF’s, but the word is out now! Get yours before the rifle deer season in Wisconsin begins the 23rd. There is minimal snow at the moment. A long TOTT is necessary for many of the high terrain hanging preforms. There are some climbers too with tethered caches. Wisconsin isn’t too rich in challenges so this is an exciting caching experience for Up North!! for both Minnesota and Wisconsin cachers.
