Another thought…. I hope the new challenge caches where most are “hung in the trees” survived the blizzard conditions! There are still some FTF’s out there too.

12/08/2019 at 6:53 am #2065033FTP Sunday THE 8TH BADGERS WON! Go Bucky Go! The winning Women’s Volleyball Team that is! Molly Haggerty hit her 1000th kill on the match winning spike. That’s making a Big Statement to win the sweep of 3-0 last night. They go to the Sweet 16 this coming weekend

12/08/2019 at 6:57 am #2065034In fact 5 Big Ten Teams qualified for the sweet 16 – WISCONSIN, PURDUE, NEBRASKA, PENN STATE AND MINNESOTA. Michigan had a the only loss. So over the last 4 years the Big Ten has had 6 and now 5 of its teams in the Sweet 16. That’s how strong this conference is. And ultimately 2 teams made the final 4 over the last 3 years and hopefully make it again or more to the final. Go Bucky!! Win all the way!!

12/08/2019 at 8:01 am #2065036Oh Boy – the latest weather forecast is calling for 5-11 inches of heavy wet snow for the NW counties – Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland. Begins Midnight through 6 pm Monday. Really looking forward to another back breaking snow removal event. Not! Winds NE – ENE are really snowmakers for Washburn. Winds slam us right across the lake to dump the heavy moisture-laden snow.

12/08/2019 at 8:07 am #20650374th Ranked Wisconsin plays 13th ranked Texas A&M next Friday and 5th ranked Nebraska plays 12th ranked Hawaii. If both Big Ten Teams win those matches they will meet up. Wisconsin has sweep Nebraska in Big Ten play twice now. But nothing is a cake walk deeper in to this tournament. It’s just exciting to see how strong the Big Ten conference is and how far these teams can advance.

12/08/2019 at 11:51 am #2065040Eeek Linda! You sure have a lot of patience with all of that snow. Praying everyone stays warm, healthy, and safe up there!

12/08/2019 at 11:06 pm #2065041I think the weather forecast calls for ice. I hate the stuff with a passion, especially since my injury last February.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

12/09/2019 at 6:30 am #2065042FTP for Monday, December 9. No precip here yet. Hoping that it shifts to the north and we get less than the predicted 1 – 3 inches.

12/09/2019 at 6:38 am #2065043Well, the snow has shifted North but so far a low amount – maybe 2 inches at most. But it’s blowing off the Lake!
