:ftp: for page 1135!
Most kind of you, rawevil.
12/09/2019 at 9:45 am #2065047Heavier snow now. It almost looks like a white-out from my kitchen window I see schools from Hurley, WI to Ontonagon, MI are closed.

12/09/2019 at 9:55 am #2065048Got up this morning to temps. above freezing. The radar showed rain far to the South of me and craphas far to the North so I was surprised to step outside and find my concrete drive coated with ice.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

12/09/2019 at 3:21 pm #2065050FTP for the afternoon hours. It’s raining in Green Bay right now, it has been for hours. Just before two this afternoon, it looked like the rain was heavy, at least on the windshield. I stopped off at a Kwik Trip but it was only a drizzle, if you can even call it that.

12/09/2019 at 3:49 pm #2065051Surprise visitor today from Colorado. Our son is here with a Uhaul to get their furniture to bring back to Colorado Springs. Looks like tomorrow’s weather should be a bit better for travel back for him. We had snowglobe snow earlier today and now it’s cold and windy. Trekkin’ just finished shoveling.
12/10/2019 at 6:13 am #2065052FTP Dec 10th I heard from friends who drove to Madison from Washburn yesterday. Typically it is a 5 1/2 hour drive but it took 9 hours yesterday through the snow, ice, and rain. I think I blew out 9 inches of snow here.

12/10/2019 at 6:31 am #2065053We probably got between 1 and 2 inches of craphas yesterday. Lots of drifting.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

12/10/2019 at 8:14 am #2065057Icy roads this morning. They can keep their high temps for tomorrow, too!

12/10/2019 at 9:02 am #2065058Looks like we’ll be in a deep freeze tomorrow, at least compared to recent days.

12/10/2019 at 10:40 am #2065059We got the area high snowfall here in West Salem with 1.5 inches. Our son is now on his way back to Colorado Springs with a UHaul full of furniture and stuff. They’ve been “camping” in their duplex, but they did get a Christmas tree! It was nice to have both sons and a grand-daughter here for supper last night. I made a vegan Mexican dish that was pretty tasty and really easy. Said son has gone to a vegan diet. (I used to be lacto-ovo-vegetarian, so no big deal for me). (I finally relented when Trekkin’ went back to deer hunting). (Which he hasn’t done in a few years now).
