No snow yet in Milwaukee.  I hope we get some before January.  I’ve forgotten what it looks like.

Probably.  I don’t take well to new stuff.  Works fine for me, why mess with success?  I actually don’t do a lot of post processing, anyway….all those years doing single chance with the 4 x 5 Graphlex kind of trained me to do the work while shooting, LOL

Actually they’re up to version 18 now (they call it Photoshop Elements 2020).  I have version 11.  Like you, why bother downloading a newer version if the older one works and you’re comfortable with it?

Not sure what we’ll do yet with upgrades from Windows 7; it’s a familiar old friend.  I know of numerous people who had problems with it not working with printers, software, and the like.  <sigh>  But it’s good to know what Photoshop Elements will still work with it.  I use it every week!

Finally got the solar panels cleaned off on Sunday. Just in time for Monday’s snow.  Back to square one.  At least there’s not as much this time.

We would not have bought new laptops except for this lack of support for Windows 7 coming.  We didn’t upgrade to 10 because everyone we knew who did had major headaches.  Our laptops are almost 10 years old and we’d have kept on with them if not for this switch.

Most of my friends who earn money with photography use Lightroom.  I’ve never looked at that myself.  I also have a Canon program to use when and if I shoot in RAW, but that doesn’t happen too often.  I haven’t tried to load that one onto the new ‘puter yet.

Of course, this is the day I was given off, when I have so many places to go today, out and about in the frigid weather.  The bright side is at least I am not battling the snows today that lostcheqland has had to conquer recently.

Two weeks till Christmas and I still don’t have the slightest idea what I’m going to get myself. 🙂

I got gas around 11:30. I didn’t think it was too bad. But I will take the cold (no wind) over all that snow.
