      for December 23rd!

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Had a good time at the Solstice event in Appleton. Found caches with bartrod and Screamin’ Mimi, with labrat, with rawevil, and with a big group of people.

That was my first time caching with you BigJim. And, it was my first caching trek since 02-02-19!!! The Solstice Event is always fun.

Hard to believe, but I think you are right. Saturday was the third day that I found a cache in the past three months. I found 2 at the picnic, two on the way home from the GIFF event, and 14 at the solstice event.

Forgot to mention, I also climbed a tree on Saturday, something fat old men probably shouldn’t be doing 😉

So that picture I saw on Facebook really was taken by you?  Let me look for tree climbers in Rhinelander for when I got to Hodag next year.  😀

I see Noonan got an FTF on a puzzle cache in Rapids this morning. It took me forever to figure it out. I had never heard of this system before. GC8GYCD

It looks like a fun puzzle but it doesn’t appear that the answer is a set of coordinates but rather a point on the map. Is that really a geocache.

Yes, I was caching solo and ran into bartrod and Screamin’ Mimi on the way to that cache and another. I figured that since I was the youngest one in the group, the climbing was up to me. It was only about 18 feet up.

Sure Jim, they just happen to conveniently show up right after you, bartrod with his hip replacement and Mimi being a lady and all.  If it was me there instead of you, they probably would have had me do it instead.

It just feels like a good day to do some Christmas shopping. 🙂

How is everyone doing on their 3-2-1 souvenir?  I already have four days crossed off, and I’ll get the other two next week with events in Green Bay.
