I moved a bunch of tb’s that I rescued from the snow and cold of WI to the warm sunny climes of a Gulf coast tb hotel yesterday 🙂 Now if only my racer would make a big move.

My new snowblower doesn’t engage the drive for the wheels. Everything else works just fine. Called Lowes last Saturday, and they said they would call me on Monday to schedule a time to pick it up. Call never came.

I called them on the way home yesterday. They said they had scheduled a pickup next Tuesday morning. (I won’t do the all caps I used on them when I was on the phone with them) Without telling me about it.

After several times of being sent to someone else, and several “we will call you back in a couple minutes” and telling them it isn’t acceptable to wait a week and a half for help when my wife is a disabled vet, our daughter has a heart condition and our son has multiple health issues.

That changed their attitude. They said they would call me today between 9-10 to talk about when they would pick up ours and drop off a new one to replace it.

They never called. I’m trying to work on holding my temper long enough to make a phone call once school is over.

Speaking of our son and phone calls, my wife just got off the phone with Mayo. We’ll be there with him for a week in April. He sees as many as 7 doctors in one day for tests to try to get a fix on what we can do about his hEDS. It’s not something we can cure, but he needs to learn how to do better self care. He’ll be 18 the week before the appointments. We’re hoping he doesn’t decide that he isn’t going.

FTP for Saturday Late to Bed and Early to Rise. I’ve been watching the impeachment trial over the last 3 days. It’s been highly interesting and now will see what happens today.

Fourth Saturday morning in a row with sketchy weather.  Fortunately I have a two-day weekend and can adjust my out-and-abouts accordingly.

I want to learn how to make pancakes.

          LOL  😃

I also got a kick out of Jim’s response about learning how to make pancakes.  I’m sure those have to be some tasty lessons.

Did I write that? 🙂 I suppose I should take those questions more seriously, but I just didn’t like any of the serious answers that I came up with for that one.

I’m back to helping at a community meal now that I can walk again with a little hustle in my bustle.  We are on our feet the whole time, so hopefully I can keep up!

Decisions, decisions  With the WGA BOD election at hand, who to vote for is the big question of the day.

He should make pretzel pancakes . . . being salty and all 😉

Yes. I wish luck to everyone. They were brave enough to throw their hat into the ring. Up until Friday afternoon, there were only 5 and now there are 6 for 5 seats.
