i just saw that someone DNF’ed an Earth Cache in the Green Bay area.  I would understand if it was a newer cacher, but this is someone who has been around the block a few times.

We’re hoping to get solar installed on our land soon. No idea when “soon” is because of the other work that needs to be done on the house first, chiefly wiring. Haven’t even had time to look at a business to get a quote from, but we’re very interested.

Congratulations!  We have not requested any of these “deals” from gc in ages….no virtual, no Adventure Lab, none of those things.  We were offered the AL but said….meh.  We have some virtuals we adopted from Lil’ Otter and at times owning one of those is more trouble than it’s worth, with armchair log enforcement and such.  We talked about requesting one of those events, but decided we didn’t feel like planning one.  Lazy, we are!

There’s no way we’ll be hosting one for several months, but maybe a 1st Annual Sandland Cache Bash sometime after June?

I found out this afternoon that I also got awarded a Community Celebration event.  The next step is deciding on a date and location  I’ve had an annual event in Rhinelander during the week of the Hodag the last three years, and that might be an opportunity for locals up that way to attend one, or I could host one in Saint  Louis when I go there three weeks later.  I could also do one right here at home in Green Bay.  Decisions, decisions. . .

We used Northwind Renewable Energy out of Stevens Point.
