Laissez les bon temps rouler!   We just took the dog for a walk to see the floats getting ready and lined up for tonight’s Mardi Gras parade.  Lots of beads on them….wonder which of us gets the most?  After that, we’re heading a couple blocks down for some blues and beers.  Have a great Friday!

Annual BOD meeting day. Soon the new board members will begin their terms. Thanks to Dawn, Lois, Bob, and Dan for your years of service on the board. You’ll all be missed. Looking forward to the next year with four new directors.

I collected lots of beads at the Barefoot Mardi Gras Parade on the beach this morning…enough to fill several ammo boxes…threw away any that were Viking, Bear, or Lion colors 🙂

So, in other words…..all of them?  We got about that many ourselves, plus other weird things that hit us in the head while watching the parade.  We did more Mardi Gras stuff last night at the craft brewery and made some friends.  Took us until almost time to go home for that, but hey!  We might get together for dinner one night this week, we’ll see.

Oh, no! I kept the green and gold ones 🙂 My wife collected anything and everything. The art teacher at the high school requested them for projects. She’s also getting all the seashells my wife picks up every morning on her walks.
I see the hodag is back…does this mean six more weeks of winter???
