I have places to go: the kitchen, the bathroom, the mailbox …

I have people to see: my wife, the news anchors, Joe Exotic …

I have things to do: eat breakfast, wash my hands, eat lunch, wash my hands …

Hey! What a coincidence…me too! Except for Joe Exotic???

Yeah, that was meant tongue-in-cheek. I really have had no interest in watching The Tiger King, but Betty convinced me to give it a try last night. We got about 20 minutes into it and turned it off.

Getting in on the double double-digits page.

I am happy to have “normal’s pale cousin” during the week, since I can go to work as usual.  Even though the weekdays are quite different than they used to be, I shouldn’t complain, since many have been forced to stay at home every day, perhaps with no income.  Like being snowbound, I am using my shelter-at-home time to clean and organize, read, cook, and watch TV.  Typically having a nice mix of productivity, relaxation, and idleness.  Posting here meets all the criteria.

Wow, a projected high of 70 degrees for today in Milwaukee.  That’ll bring some of the social distancers out.  It will be more challenging to find a sparsely populated area to walk.

Nice full moon tonight, now that the clouds have cleared away.

FTP for Wednesday 4/8/2020 Well I tried to make Masks for the community needs, but found out my sewing machine needs repair. Ugh.
Had to return all the pre-cut kits I picked up for others to finish now. But at least I pressed all the seams. With the pattern I decided to hand-sew one for myself. Not too bad, but I hope it survives the washing machine!

I took a nostalgic walk down the Yellow Brick Road to retrieve some of the Wizard’s old caches that I couldn’t get to last year…still pretty wet along the trail. I heard lots of frogs and saw some deer, turkey, and pteradactyls…that’s’ what my wife calls the cranes 🙂

Starting our plant sale. We have about 600 tomato, pepper, etc. plants. We’ve sold enough to just about break even already!

Isn’t it kind of early for that?

You can get some and take them to your house. I’m not saying you should put them in the ground 🙂 Unless you want to, and then come back to buy more plants.

Just about ready to put eggs into the incubator tonight too. 22 chicks, or some number less than that, should be cheeping at the end of the month. Maybe some ducklings about that time too if mama duck is doing what she needs to do.

Just noticed there are several small patches of public land not too far from our house. May have to start working on some more puzzles.
