Loving this rain. We had about a 20 minute downpour yesterday, but now there’s a gentle  rain that appears to have been falling most of the night. Just what my garden needed.

Great job on the radio today! Listening to the Larry Meiller Show many years ago got us involved in caching, great to hear Rebecca and Carson promoting things today. Unfortunately,  I listen to his podcast instead of the radio, so I couldn’t call in., but enjoyed hearing the joy and excitement the game brings you and hope more people have the same reaction we had.

Thanks, Noonan.  I listened to it this evening.  I agree, it was a well done account of geocaching and nice job of fielding questions by Carson and Rebecca.

Humpday? How can you tell? 🙂 Life has me stuck in neutral. A list of chores I can’t complete because I don’t have the things I need to get them done. Big piles of brush, but no chipper. Lumber to stack but no splitter. Homes for our birds to be built, but my wife doesn’t have plans she can give me – she just has a feeling for how big they should be. Summer school, but no kids showing up.

Thanks for the reminder – today is dump run day.

Maybe I can convince my wife today is a good day for me to go caching. I’d go fishing, but we can’t find a place that is relatively convenient that also has fish. Downtown Wautoma is amazingly close and convenient, but I haven’t caught anything there in a couple weeks. We tried the big pond in Wild Rose but nada.

There’s a lot of chatter outside of my front room window these days as the woodpecker parents try to teach their youngsters suet cake etiquette.

LOL! I only know what day it is because Betty still goes to work, so I recognize “weekends.” Also, it’s “Sushi Wednesday” so I got some sushi for lunch. I took my truck in to get the oil changed this morning, and when they opened up the air box to check the filter, they found that it was absolutely PACKED with grass. Now I know where the mice that I kept catching in the garage were coming from.

Gasp! I got a FTF today…in Michigan. I had to run to Mennard’s in Marinette. There was a new cache published a couple of days ago that hadn’t been found yet across the river. Zuma had DNF’d it…but I thought, I’m close. Why not give it a try? I have to thank Zuma for giving up on it too easily and leaving it for me. I think that’s the first FTF I’ve found in a couple of years. Whoo-hoo 🙂

Zuma! drove all the way to Menominee to get a FTF? Wow! I teased my wife about going to visit family just to get the two new caches up there, but one was exposed to COVID recently, so that took care of that thought. No signs of infection yet, not sure how much longer they have to wait to get test results.
