I need to get the electric geomobile in for repairs. Nowadays I rarely drive it except for my rare caching trips and the just as rare solo trip to a local store. The CV joint is grinding. I put 1000 miles on it after it started making noise because of Census work, now we’re still waiting to close on our old house. It was supposed to take place today, but the buyer had something in their credit history that didn’t pop up until early this week, and will take two weeks to clear. That means another mortgage payment for us and a whole sting of phone calls to gas company, etc. to let them know the house is still ours. It also means that things like car repairs need to wait another couple of weeks.
