I thought they worked like Whereigo – that I needed to be a certain distance from the dot to get the checkmark and be allowed to go to the next spot. It was especially frustrating because the closer I was to the building, the farther the GPS put me into the parking lot. I actually got to within 3′ once, but never to the 0′ I thought I needed. The problem was with me, not with the AL. I was wondering about the statue at the other one!
We had a tough time getting the spot on coordinates we like to get in that spot, so I think I set the “geo-fence” a bit larger than for the rest of them. As you probably figured out later, all you need to do is get the little “answer question” thing to show up and you’re set.

08/06/2020 at 10:30 am #2066958We’ve done our part….hidden 26 since the whole shutdown stuff started in mid-March. Plus one Adventure Lab.
Wow! New series?
08/06/2020 at 4:07 pm #2066959I’ve hidden a few, just need people to solve the puzzles that live in the state to find them.
The best sig is no sig.
08/06/2020 at 7:11 pm #2066960I just received notification to create an Adventure Lab…cool! I have some thoughts…will plan it out soon. The grandkids will be in town this weekend though 🙂

08/07/2020 at 6:45 am #2066962FTP for TGIF Had a great time kayaking caching on the St. Louis river between Superior and Duluth for a Virtual! “Stuffies” were nailed to the wooden supports of a railroad trestle. Then a highlight of the day was a surprise visit to the Oscar Meyer
Hot Dog Auto! Picked up a new “weiner whistle to go with my original one!” Then I don’t know what I was thinking, but a 5.5+ hike out to the tip of Minnesota Point including the a .65 mile hop of the breakwall boulders out to a recently hid cache. The boulder hoping took about 2.5 hours round trip just to do this! Feeling my age this morning too.I’d Rather Be Lost Geocaching, Than Found At Home!

08/08/2020 at 7:14 am #2066966FTP for Saturday!
Saw over 30 masked attendees at the Event yesterday. It was nice to geochat again.

Would have been nice to go, but we’ve been avoiding any gatherings, even masked. I skipped out on a rare chance to see a bird far afield last weekend. Good thing we’re doing that…..I have developed some kind of throat thing the past few hours. [:(] Glad to see you had a good gathering, it would have been fun.
08/09/2020 at 9:16 am #2066969FTP for Sunday. I still haven’t done an Adventure Lab. Maybe this week I will.

08/09/2020 at 10:28 am #2066971I’m a little out of the loop. What’s an Adventure Lab? Is it the same as the Lab caches that were at the Cache Ba$h in recent years?

Like I said, I haven’t done one yet. It looks to me more like a whereIgo or intercache.

You need to add the Adventure Lab app to your cell phone. There are two in Appleton and one in High Cliff S.P. near you.
