09/06/2020 at 5:35 pm #2067150seldom | seen is looking for coords for the moved signage I saw as we drove through Brownsville over two months ago. Anyone going that way soon? It is within the city on 49, on the north side of the street. Hopefully, I wasn’t seeing things that weren’t really there!

09/08/2020 at 3:45 pm #2067155I probably won’t send pictures/updates. s/s has been caching longer than we have, and if he needed maintenance on a cache, he could have come to the WGA website and posted on the ‘Cache Rescue’ list, or driven to GZ to maintain the hide like the rest of us do. It’s kinda like asking me to get up off the couch to change the channel while you are sitting there holding the remote. I took the time to look at the issues, but the cache page text, as well as the hide spot, may need to be changed. Now that the signs are moved, I believe that they are more than 2 miles from the hide site. The cache is about 10 years old. A new hide here would be great!
09/09/2020 at 6:31 am #2067156FTP for a wintery Wednesday in September. Brrrrrr.

09/09/2020 at 12:08 pm #2067157Hardly a slave to fashion, but I was feeling the fall colors today. I put on olive pants and my pumpkin-colored WGA state parks shirt. Like it seems every season, we get a taste of what’s to come, and then more of the weather that is typical, before it changes more consistently. I kind of appreciate the warning. 😞
09/10/2020 at 9:15 am #2067158FTP for Thursday the 10th!
09/11/2020 at 9:47 am #2067159FTP for 9/11.
Today I visited the 9/11 memorial down the street. I never knew the symbolism behind each piece, shape, position, color…a lot of thought went into designing it. An adult and small child were there too. I am glad people are teaching their children about its history.
09/12/2020 at 7:42 am #2067160FTP for a rainy Saturday – yea – we need this moisture. Wishing we could share this with the western states on fire! Remembering those who have lost their lives in this continuing crisis.
