10/16/2020 at 5:46 pm #2067291Craphas arrived?!
Yep, we had some this afternoon. Just enough to make the ground whitish, then it melted right away.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
10/17/2020 at 9:16 am #2067292FTP for a blustery Saturday!

10/19/2020 at 10:04 am #2067295Looks like we’re out of the slush zone today. Our forecast is to get back into the 60s by the end of the week. Maybe I can do one more day of tilling then!

10/20/2020 at 7:46 am #2067296FTP for Tuesday Dark morning with more snow on the way. Saw something on Facebook, “Those who decorate for Christmas in October are to blame for the snow! So STOP IT!”

10/21/2020 at 7:12 am #2067298First To Post on Hump Day the 21st!
Hope you northern folk are enjoying the craphas!
10/21/2020 at 9:24 am #2067299I wouldn’t say I am enjoying this wet snow in October. Roads are clear of the 1-3 we had overnight. But more coming. Now to watch out for the crazy deer as the rut will be in full swing soon. They will be scrambling for food before more snow hits again. So far no visits to the garden, but I know they will be here soon enough. Covering carrots and beets today with straw for winter harvesting. Yum!

10/22/2020 at 3:20 am #2067300FTP for October 22nd. No craphas expected in my area today but it will be unseasonably cold with a couple inches of rain in the forecast. 😫
10/23/2020 at 6:39 am #2067301Incredible to see bare ground this morning. No snow in Washburn, just rain. I like it!

10/23/2020 at 7:34 am #2067302We got more rain yesterday than I can remember getting in some time. I’m afraid to go look in our basement.
If you’ve ever wondered how many principals and guidance personnel you need to run a high school for two weeks, the answer in Adams seems to be zero. That crew had an in-person meeting and someone was unwittingly positive at the time. They are all at home for two weeks with the superintendent running the day-to-day show (we all know it’s the secretaries running things).

10/24/2020 at 7:22 am #2067303FTP for Saturday Woke up to some snow. The international Space Station was out there at 6:55 am but cloudy skies were in the way of the view. Be safe out there in our state of “WisCovid!”

As long as I’m here…
