02/08/2021 at 2:36 pm #2067809I get my first dose tomorrow. Then one more week with this stupid splint.
Today I managed non-chair yoga but no down dogs or anything like that. And played some simple tunes on the dulcimer. My thumb hurts when I wiggle it certain ways….hope that won’t be an ongoing issue.
02/08/2021 at 4:47 pm #2067810Still waiting for word on vaccines in my area. I’m in the 1b group but they are still doing the healthcare and first responders. Maybe March?

That’s what our District Admin is telling us, that school staff (1b) will be in March. I jumped the line because I volunteer at the hospital (pet therapy). I didn’t experience serious side effects from the second dose … pretty much the same as the first: mild headache and tiredness. I had less injection site soreness with the second shot than with the first, bit others told me that they experienced the opposite.

Thanks for the feedback. I am hearing a variety of reactions from my health care friends. Given my shingles shot experiences, I am expecting to use a sick day the next day, or hope for a Friday appointment. Of course, different vaccinations, different responses. No way to really know, I guess.
