:ftp: for page 1238!
How was the barn?
It was round! Left the door open for the cattle to be led in and out!

It was large, too. I’m pretty sure that the last one out shut the door.

03/09/2021 at 6:28 am #2067921Not looking forward to this day. Yesterday morning a kindergarten student from our school was hit by a school bus and died from his injuries. We were advised by the State Patrol and school administration not to discuss the incident with our students until the investigators released the information. In fact, we were given very little information about the incident, but the rumor mills are churning, and by the time the opening bell rings I’m sure that every kid in school will have heard something about it, factual or not.

03/09/2021 at 6:31 am #2067922So sorry to hear that Jim 😔
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

03/09/2021 at 3:10 pm #2067924Sad news, Jim. I’m sure you’ll handle it with care. Don’t hesitate to ask school counselors for resources for the adults too. Even if you didn’t know the child, it can still weigh on you.

Yes, the school brought in counselors from several nearby districts.

That is just horrible, Jim. We had numerous tragedies at our school, partly but not completely due to the fact that we had many medically fragile kids in our special ed program. I can never forget the school year at our final staff meeting that our principal said…..We didn’t have any students die this year. It is so, so very hard.
03/11/2021 at 9:16 am #2067929FTP for Thursday the 11th. Thankfully rain and not much snow overnight. But if the rain would have been snow? The Bay would have been buried! Sorry Jim about the tragedy at your school. Very difficult times to get through. Prayers to all.

03/12/2021 at 6:27 am #2067935FTP for Friday the 12th Looking forward to the time change this weekend. Another sign of Spring? Still haven’t heard a robin yet, but the deer are certainly moving about! Seeing many out in the fields in the late afternoon.

03/12/2021 at 8:34 am #2067936Saw 4 robins by Doylestown yesterday!
03/12/2021 at 4:36 pm #2067937Unfortunately for me, I have already seen the mourning doves and the red-winged blackbirds. No robins for me yet, but our neighborhood bald eagle is often in the nest or circling the area.
