Gun deer season must be over…

Numbers are down this year in the hunt.  I may know why.  Some deer decided to hide in the city.

I drive rural roads in the dark every morning and see only an occasional dead deer on the shoulder.  This evening at rush hour, a huge deer crossed four lanes of traffic in downtown Appleton by the College roundabout.  It disappeared down an embankment towards the river.  Lucky buck that it ran fast and didn’t get hit.  Traffic yielded..the deer was coming from the left!

FTP for palindrome day 12-2-21.  Yesterday was also palindromic, but I didn’t post when I realized it.  Maybe I will tomorrow.  Or the next day.  Or the next…

Good afternoon!  We are completely pokey regarding Christmas decorating.  Just a couple things up, no tree yet, nothing outdoors.  I talked to Pat/sandlanders the other day and she’s got everything up already, which wasn’t always typical for her.

Just light craphas here.  Maybe 2 inches.

Chatauqua560, try this.  Click on your name in blue on your post.  That brings up your profile.  4 or 5 links down is Edit.  Click on that, and scroll down.  Enter address, and just below that is location.  I am guessing it should be in the N/W latitude/longitude format.

If that doesn’t work, I guess try sending a message to the webmaster.  Hope to see more posts from you soon!

FTP for Tuesday the 7th. “Remember Pearl Harbor”

Note to self: Check the tires of the snowthrower in the fall to be sure they are not flat before you need to use your machine!
Quick to fix, but interrupted the process yesterday.

FTP for the 8th Going XC skiing for the first time this winter. Hope it goes well and I certainly won’t over do it. Those leg muscles the next day or two after skiing can be tender!
