Power went out here for about 2 seconds last night. The rain blew through in about 2o minutes.

I had a fun experience yesterday while doing an adventure lab in Green Bay.  I went out for the one at Lambeau Field, and the last spot took me over by the practice facilities.  As I was leaving after completing the series, I noticed there were people walking towards me with cameras, turns out there were from TV stations across the state.  Next thing I know, there were several men jogging by, turns out they were Packer players.  So I started to wave at them to wish them the best for their upcoming game, and one of them gave me a high five.  I recognized him as the coach.  So I got to high five Matt LaFleur, coach of the Green Bay Packers.

Lost power at 3:43 a.m.  So I threw together a bag of toiletries and snacks, got dressed, and got ready at work.  I got the call at 10:15 that power has been restored.

However, flying debris chipped my windshield this morning.  😡  Still, knowing what weather events happened elsewhere, these are minor issues.

FTP for Friday the 17th. On Wisconsin! Badger Women’s Volleyball Team defeated the #1 ranked Louisville team last night to take on Nebraska in the final Championship game this Saturday at 6:15 Central Time in ESPN2 network. Go Badgers!!! Although they have defeated Nebraska 2 times in conference play, means nothing when it comes to this match. Should be a thriller as both teams are playing well.

Just getting ready to leave for the Winter Solstice event in Appleton – even though the winter solstice doesn’t happen until Tuesday. Think I’m out of the running for any FTFs or pickles, though.
