02/06/2015 at 7:55 pm #2035214Her nose appeared more than once … didn’t see that the first time I watched it.
02/06/2015 at 8:56 pm #2035215I knew my nose was big….this just proves it! 😉
We just now got a chance to see the news story. This was one of those things where you head somewhere to find a cache and almost forget about the cache part. We stopped in the park office and got chatting with Carolyn….we had some common friends, it turned out and we talked a long time about some of the concerns when a person sets up an EarthCache and all kinds of stuff. She says….”Wanna see something really cool?’ and she took us out to the shoreline to show us that ice volcano. Absolutely awesome! They didn’t cover as much about the unique conditions needed to have something like that occur, but we got to learn about that from her. We were probably there close to three hours, between chatting, doing the interview and then just playing on the ice. I kind of liked how right after my first appearance, he cut to a shot of a duck on the water.
I sure wish I’d done something with my hair and makeup before we went out this morning. *eye roll*
02/06/2015 at 9:06 pm #2035217Nice video. I saw one down this way a few years ago.
Awaiting the results, tonight is the first forensics competition.

I thought the same thing!
02/06/2015 at 9:18 pm #2035222For future reference: I am allergic to amoxicillin

02/06/2015 at 9:30 pm #2035223Stay away from Ciprofloxacin (Cipro) that’s a nasty antibiotic in my opinion. Eat some yogurt with a live culture while taking any of em so you don’t wipe out the good stuff in your gut. I learned that the hard way.
02/06/2015 at 9:43 pm #2035224Oh, I have noticed a change in my body due to a course of antibiotics about a decade ago.

02/06/2015 at 10:18 pm #2035225Channel 7 out of Wausau is running a special report on Monday: “Guardrail Dangers.” I Wonder if there is a magnetic keyholder in that guardrail.

02/06/2015 at 10:30 pm #2035226Planning an odd trip for next weekend. My nephew and sister-in-law are driving to Indianapolis tomorrow. My nephew is scheduled for surgery to remove a tumor from his liver on Monday. Sister-in-law is afraid of driving long distances, in cities, and/or on mutli-lane highways and nephew won’t be able to drive post-surgery. So I am flying to Indy on Friday to drive them back to Wisconsin on Saturday.

02/06/2015 at 10:31 pm #2035227She finished third out of 36 in her category. She is really excited.
Big Jim…you are a great guy.
02/06/2015 at 10:41 pm #2035228What was her category? (inquired she who was a big debate/forensics geek in high school and college). Congratulations to her!
Yes Jim, you are a gift to your family. Best wishes to your nephew for a good outcome and quick healing.
