            FTP for Hump Day!

Six days in a row. Has any TSer bested that?

            Hi everyone, I’m still alive!

Breaking Jim and Linda’s monotony to ask a question.

It seems Wood County doesn’t have a form for approval for placing geocaches in parks. I decided to be proactive and request forms from my nearby counties to avoid the problems I’m having (thanks Bec). The form they sent me was a generic facilities use request.

            Advice?

BTW, Waushara has one that you can find online if you do a Google search. I haven’t heard back from them officially yet.

Adams and Portage Counties are still unresponsive too, although Adams Co Ohio has a great looking website with a section about geocaching.

Another side note, it’s too bad Adams Co. hasn’t hired the person that made the Rome website. You sure can tell where all the money in the county is.

My Memorial weekend began today, but glitches have twice changed plans.  Nice to see regulars and previously prolific posters all chiming in.

Hey Randy!  My first thought was….West Bend….which led me to this request form:  https://www.secured-site7.com/washingtoncounty/www/uploads/docs/Geocaching_request_form._Print.pdf

Hope this link works, and hope it helps you!   Take Care!

P.s.  Attempted to upload file….not sure if that works either  🤔😁

It’s not often I can actually post caching news here.  Today I did cache maintenance and also cached in High Cliff State Park.  It was pretty muddy but the temperature was perfect and the mosquitoes were minimal.  It was a successful morning!

I saw three hot air balloons take off from the Bubolz area.  A perfect morning for it!  A fun surprise to start my day!
