On a sadder note, there was just notice here that Reloader54494 has passed away. I never met the CO, but I did post a message to the family.

I know two more of his rifle themed caches are on the LCG list and have several DNFs posted as the last attempts. Since they are all typically just sign post P&Gs I never bothered to go look for them. I was waiting for the owner to do maintenance instead of driving up there for a DNF and a couple of game points.

School starts next week for us.

Anyone have any happier messages?

Reloader 54454…I just found BOTH of those LCG hides yesterday! I only plan on a 50/50 Find to DNF ratio while playing the game. Sad that the CO has passed away.

Posting on page 1300.  Reloader54494 looks familiar but I can’t say for sure that we ever crossed paths.  Sorry to hear of his passing.

Kevin (Reloader54494) passed away in January, following an extended period of ill health. He wasn’t able to maintain his caches for quite a while before he passed, and as far as I know, never reached out to anyone for help. I don’t know who has his password, but this week was the first time that anything has been posted from his account since before his death. If his caches have DNF’s, they are most likely missing. Personally, I don’t have time to maintain nearly 300 PnG’s in addition to my own caches and the 192 cache WGA geoart.

It has been a while since i have been here… it has gotten awfully quiet!

I am looking to see if there are any searchers with in a 50mi radius of Milwaukee’s North Point Lighthouse that may be avail. Sat. Sept. 3rd for about maybe 30-60min between 10am and 1pm (I will have a better idea of time maybe that morning) I am looking for some “searchers” for a treasure hunt that will be run here that day, it is a huge area to cover!  the BOTG person who is first to find the coin will get half the $1000 prize ($500).  i have a group of puzzle solvers/decoders/hunters, 4 of us are in the area.  Last week we only had a couple of people to be BOTG in a different city and out person got there 9th and he was a good distance away – almost 7000 were emailed the puzzles when they dropped – i think we did pretty good, we would love to win my hometown!!! if you know anyone who may be interested, please let me know!!! I can also be reached on FB under by name, Debby Koenig (profile has a young me sitting outside with my 2 (then little) kids 🙂  i will do my best to monitor this thread!!
