              Another fire just outside where I taught in Oregon. We had looked at buying property in the burn area before we found the house where Sandlanders visited us.

              If you’re interested in how I have over 400 cache hides, but not nearly that many near where I live, look west of where the fire is. That long line of caches is the OC&E Trail State Park. I had so many more to place when we left. Really wish we could have finished that, but it would have taken years.

                        FTP for Hump Day!

                        We are 0 for 2 this week (so far). Had our EAA flight cancelled Sunday and now the SS Badger ferry to Ludington has closed for the season for dock repairs in Michigan. Now, to wait for the refunds…

                                You could come for a boat ride with me. Last day of weed cutting tomorrow, then focus returns to schoolwork. Probably the hottest day for us, felt like 100+ and humid, but there was a breeze in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the breeze was strong enough to make the boats slightly uncontrollable unless sheltered from the wind.
