FTP for the 16th Another Bitter Cold Day. Some snow today on the Bayfield Penisula. Had to postpone the Brule ski Race to Feb. 18th due to lack of snow depth to make a safe course. I’m sure our local winter-dependent econoomy is hurting this year.

How busy has work kept me? I placed a cache before Thanksgiving. I never got around to writing a description, but I have it all written in my head. Not a puzzle, just a scenic place I go past every day on the way to work. Sandlanders helped with the place name. I checked on it two weeks ago, still in place. I wonder if the snow plow buried it now?

FTP for January 17th.  Not even that fast blast through time and space was able to warm me up!  I’m sure it wasn’t this cold the last time I was FTP on January 17th. 🥶

Popping in here to say hello to all! And don’t worry . . . looks like things will be heating up next week 🙂

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

74 hours at school last week. Probably over 60 this week. Glad I get those extra $40 for working games.

But how many hours were you at school two weeks ago when there were three snow days, Noonan?  (One was virtual learning so I don’t know if you can teach that from home or not.) Not many after school activities on those days either.  You’ll be busy with all those make-up events now. $$$
