I normally enjoy winter but this one has been so screwed up that I’m tired of it.

I’m already thinking through my springing ahead strategies.

Springing ahead means staying out till 7:00 right now.  Spring means being able to enjoy it.

I hope your strategies involve hiding more caches in some neat spots, jar42.  😀

One of my springing ahead routines involves trying to figure out why I have so many damn clocks.

Just change your most visible clock twice a year and leave the others on DST all year.  They will be right for eight months.  During the winter, you can take the time to do the math if you look at one of those.

I was going to go out and clean up the little bit of craphas  that we got but now we are getting a freezing mist.

Better leave it alone for now.

I leave the clock in the basement set to standard time because I’m more likely to be doing a project there in the winter.

Perhaps I should get out of the house for a little birding nearby.  Not getting much done here.

We’re birding from the window today. Blue Jays, Cardinals, Mourning Doves, Chickadees, Nuthatches, Juncos, Finches and Sparrows. Gray and Red Squirrels too. No Woodpeckers yet today, but they’ll show up as soon as I fill the peanut feeder, Going out soon to fill all of the feeders.
