We gave away our cross-country skiing stuff when we cleaned the garage in 2008. We’d had it since 1986, and we probably last used it about five years before we got rid of it. Sometimes we miss it, but most of the time we don’t.
As for downhill… Never tried it. Never wanted to.
11/29/2014 at 4:46 pm #2031051We brought our snowshoes out here. People think we are crazy.

11/29/2014 at 4:46 pm #2031052h1o2 … only a few of my database list went into the Nuvi with name,GC#, D/T and size. Could you post a step by step instruction list on how to do it or is that what you posted on page 18? Maybe in the tech part of the forum?
11/29/2014 at 4:48 pm #2031053Downhill is how I busted the cartilage in my knee at age 14. Knee replaced in 2001. 🙂

11/29/2014 at 8:10 pm #2031059Ahoy me Mateys. It seems the squirrel does not communicate by semiphore. Its high tech communication was not getting through to the pirates. The powers that be have granted me access. It is nice to be able to communicate with all of you. I am a lurker no more. Thank you WA and Black Cat.
I hope Thanksgiving was enjoyed with friends and family.
11/29/2014 at 8:12 pm #2031060I was a downhill skiier in college until I bought my first pair of xc skis. I am always happy when I’m on my skinny skis. Last time I was downhill was at Rib Mountain when I took some of the kids from the group home where I worked in Point up for the day.

Strange results! Unfortunately I can’t add any more than I already did on page 18. You might want to try a fresh PQ if what you tried to send was old.

11/30/2014 at 9:12 am #2031762Sheesh as they say, “when it rains, it pours.” This week the soap holder yanked out of the wall in the shower, the front doorbell stopped working, and the fluorescent ceiling light in the kitchen died.
Got the soap holder thing partially fixed. After the new install cures I’ll put a topcoat of tile caulk on it. The doorbell could be the wires, the transformer, the chimes, or the doorbell button; will have to test what’s wrong. The kitchen lights I’ve already replaced the 4 tubes and a new wall switch, that didn’t do it. Looks like now I’ll have to try a new ballast.

11/30/2014 at 10:34 am #2031777I’d rather deal with all of that instead of the crap we dealt with at our first rental out here
