The Old 21 detour will work for all of us in the know. I’m not sure what the access ramp situation will be but I know that to go North I’ll have to take the access road in front of Hoops. I don’t remember how long the construction is supposed to take but I’m sure the peace and quiet won’t last long enough.

The search for a new vehicle is being slowed by the lack of brightly colored examples.

I thought all the ramps were going to be accessible, just not always where you want to go.  From the west to go south is the same, but to go north from the west, the detour is up V (I think).  Anyone… in the know… could just go into Coloma and access 39/51 from the east.   To go south from the east, the detour is through Westfield (CH to E/J?), but to go north is OK.   I think through traffic on 21 both east and west is by the detours and 39/51…. but we’re taking old 21.  I read the work was all supposed to be done by Memorial Day.  Traffic on 39/51 can experience delays from the overhead work on the bridge.

We had our first fire of the year tonight.  Burned the Christmas wreath and roasted hot dogs.  No marshmallows, no beer, and no fireworks, though.

I know they said that the ramps would not be affected but I’m not sure how their going to manage that, especially on the East side.

I thought today was Saturday.  Everyone is off here today.  I would probably still be asleep if it wasn’t for that darn woodpecker. It is so loud.  But when it is gone, I will miss it.  The ladies are going to find their Prince Charming at the movie house.  I am going to visit my brother and overdose on thin mints and college basketball.  Yes, I know we are a week early, but we were unable to get off for the real tournament next week, so this will have to do.
