Thought we’d be able to sneak in one more road trip before daycare duties begin the following week, but it seems Trekkin’ has a number of responsibilities with the local historica society. Oh well. Maybe I can get some stuff around the house done for a change!

Well, we can still probably do one of our road trips. Trekkin’ can hang out with Pooh’s Pal and walk the dogs.

Retirement sure turned out differently for us than we’d thought. But it’s okay.

Not complaining….just turned out to be very different for us.

The sky to the west is starting to develop that ominous look. I thought this stuff wasn’t getting here till evening. I was hoping to go birding by the river today. I suppose I still could. Ducks don’t care about rain.

My older brother would not hold our children, because he said holding babies is contagious. My brothers both had children within a year of holding my younger one. Just a piece of friendly advice. Have fun caching in CO.

Nothing turns out the way you plan. Adaptation determines your happiness, at least that is what I keep trying to tell myself.
