I’ll be back in Wisconsin by the end of the day.

Met a retired couple walking the OC&E yesterday. They said the geese, which are here in the thousands, will be leaving soon.
I was caching in shorts yesterday.

    It looks warmer though.

I will be reading Gone With The Wind on the plane, in case anyone’s interested. I resisted the urge to buy a new book in the airport bookstore.

Frankly my dear, I don’t give a damn.  I didn’t resist the urge.  Yeah, I know, movie, not book.  Safe journey.

Deal of the Day: 1# of butter $1.89 at Aldi.

I just made my own peanut butter – it is soooo good!

I bet that would make good cookies.

Did you finish the chocolate chip cookies?

      They were inhaled almost immediately.

If you can get a route to LaCrosse, tomorrow is free “adopt a guinea pig day” from 1-5 at the local humane society! ;)

Oh darn, just missed it. (whew!)

Spent the afternoon birding. (What a surprise, I know). Just got back from our Burgers and Beverages event. A new cacher joined the fun tonight, too. Those have been a nice, laid back way to pass the winter. There was even a couple there from Sandland!

Yeah, but we didn’t adopt any guinea pigs while we were in the area.
