                “Today is the first day of the rest of my life”, actually Friday was, but this is a new week.  Hubs (Phil) and I are now playmates, 24/7.  Should be fun and interesting.

                    Sometimes that 24/7 business isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Google “retired husbands.” LOL Congratulations! I had a caching event my first officially retired day!

                    Trekkin’ just finished his painting project. Now he just needs to pull off the tapes and newspaper and start putting the room together. He is reclaiming a room that was once his mancave, in the days before we became parents. With the movement in and out of various families in recent years, it took a little longer for this to happen.

                      Thanks BBG … it’s good to have him on a new and completely different plane (or is it plain?).  Never knew him as a person not involved in work or other things.  Should be very interesting.

                      Birdin, I’m sure he’ll find things to occupy him sometimes.  He already has two fishing trips lined up.

                          Short work day for Poohs Pal’s dad, so no daycare.  Real work starts tomorrow.  I should find out if he’s working on Friday.

                          Yup, RHS.  I know two retired husbands who have a fishing date on May 2.
