Even better than Shopko Senior Day: waiting for rats on a train!
Rats on a Train … sounds like a sequel to Snakes on a Plane.
it just takes longer for the plot to develop.
04/02/2015 at 8:54 am #2038165Posting here given it was mentioned earlier and many who may know frequent this thread: I see on geocaching.com that there is a button for Take me to the old search. This is nice. Is it a permanent feature? Also, am I missing where the “quick view” is? I used it to see recently viewed caches and also the Find a geocacher feature. I checked their forums and none of the topics seemed to be what I am wondering about. Thanks.
04/02/2015 at 10:22 am #2038167Debby, I was so happy to see that “old search” link. Not sure about your other questions, although I’ve sen stuff about a drop down menu in the upper right next to your caching name. Maybe that’s where they went?
Why, I still do not understand. I thought everything was just fine before. I must be getting old, crotchety and resistant to change. Except I just got home from my first day at my new job completely different from what I did for 30 years.
so…maybe old and crotchety fit, but I embrace most change. Just not the gc ones!
04/02/2015 at 10:25 am #2038168amita17 click on your name in upper right corner, is this what you r looking for?
I need help with viewing some photos GC6222. I have tried Firefox, IE and Safari and can’t see the pictures that I need to look for. Can anyone see them and how can I fix this?
04/02/2015 at 10:35 am #2038169CTQ, those photos don’t show up for me in Safari or in Chrome. The recent logs don’t mention having trouble viewing them. I wonder if cachers are just going to the given coords where the four photos were taken, and if there aren’t other notable stones in those areas, they are getting the info they need that way.
04/02/2015 at 10:41 am #2038170There’s a “Needs Maintenance” note in the logs and it indicates to me that others have had the same issue and are just going to the coords given for references. Guessing it is one of those issues where someone’s photos have been moved or deleted in their files so GC can’t load them. I see that tiny blue question mark a lot lately.
04/02/2015 at 2:15 pm #2038171Last night we were watching “Chicago PD,” (which is actually filmed in Chicago) and one of the closing scenes showed Russells BBQ. I told Dick….”I’ve eaten there!” Back in my scrapbooking days, I attended a big trade show with a friend starting her own shop. We connected with another local scrapbooker while we were there and that’s where she took us to eat, pointing out on the menu that even broccoli could be made unhealthy there. Yup. Deep fried broccoli was one of the items on the menu!

04/02/2015 at 6:23 pm #2038193Sight is important. I considered changing my avatar to yours or make many people’s the same but that seemed like too much work

04/02/2015 at 6:26 pm #2038195Lots of people don’t like the changes to GC.com
04/02/2015 at 6:56 pm #2038196Change does get a little more difficult the older I get. I know, too that several people weren’t excited with the new website here at first.
