I went “Into the Woods” with the girls today.  Sometimes, I really hate Disney.  I know some of the play was a bit dark for screen, but they edited everything that made it dark, gritty, and good.

I also left my GPS at home….no caching.

The library was closed……no entertainment materials.

It has been a gloomy day.

I want to wish everyone a very Happy Easter.  I am going to be the guy stocking the beer, liquor, and wine shelves, so that others can enjoy it with family and friends.  Go Bucky.

Got a fake hand from a middle school boy today that he wants me to hide. Buahahaha!

I am the only person with all 4 Final Four correct. I picked using mascots in a fight as my rule. Sadly, badgers don’t beat wildcats. Spartans don’t beat the devil, and wildcats don’t stop the supernatural.

Ammo can found. I stumbled upon an ammo can from a cache that has been archived since 2010 yesterday.

Two owl day today! A Snowy was seen at the airport, and we went to see if it was still around. Kind of far out for a good photo and let’s face it, an airport runway isn’t very photogenic, but it’s LaCrosse county, so that makes me happy. (I’m always teetering between fourth and fifth place. The guys ahead of me chase everything and don’t seem to have other hobbies.) (Notice I said “guys.” I’m the top girl birder for the county).

Then we went elsewhere to check on possible owlets and sure enough….hunkered down but still curious, two Great Horned owlets poked their beaks out.

There are several different nests in the area (that I’m aware of). This is one that has had successful nestings most years. The one I took a series of photos of over time a couple years ago has not been used since that year. Too many people were getting too close. They are probably nesting in a more secluded location now.
