I’m still plugging away on finishing my geo-quilt for the silent auction.

04/08/2015 at 10:32 pm #2038546Should I do 14 in a row to get a FTP or wait for someone else to show up?
04/08/2015 at 10:43 pm #2038547Hi Ya MGT!
04/09/2015 at 12:49 am #2038551FTP for Thursday!
04/09/2015 at 8:40 am #203855968 degrees and sunny sitting here on the deck looking at the redbuds blossoming around the area. Â There is a bale of turtles sunning themselves along the pond, must be about 30 of them. Â All the nasty weather went to the north of us so only a few sprinkles this morning. Â Saw a great show last night called SIX. Â Guys made all the sounds with their voices and we couldn’t tell there weren’t any instruments except by watching mouths, cheeks and chests move. Â Off to find some caches and whatever.
04/09/2015 at 10:47 am #2038576Well, Trekkin’ is out looking for FTFs in a storm. Â Apparently he went in the ditch and had to be towed. Â He’s okay, the Vue is OK (as it ever will be, anyway), and he’s waiting out the weather to go for the last three. Â Where’s that eye roll?
He’d kind of stopped this FTF nonsense, but has been going nuts the last week. Â This too shall pass.

You have the patience of a saint, Gwyn.
04/09/2015 at 12:32 pm #2038581I guess he would rather not have this information be very public…so please anyone, if you see him; you don’t know this. Thanks.
He was trying to pull onto the shoulder and apparently an old culvert that was hard to see got him. I still wonder how much the eye poke damage to his eye is at fault with things like this. This is not the kind of thing he would have happen. It’s more up my alley (though thankfully, the last time I need to be pulled from a ditch was 1979, when I hit some black ice on a curve. A carful of very nice Larry, Darryl and Darryls from Bevent pulled off the road and without a word, got me out. Wouldn’t take a thing for their trouble.)
04/09/2015 at 12:42 pm #2038582Ugh! Â Glad that he’s OK, even if his ego is bruised a bit. Â I mean…I don’t know anything! Â I was never here!
I got hit in the face with a ball today and have a massive headache.

04/09/2015 at 2:08 pm #2038585Back to the lodge/cabin. Â After 5 hours, wouldn’t you think Housekeeping would have been here!!!! Â Even waved to them as we were leaving. Â đ Â Sorry for the vent about something so trival but no one else to rant to. đ

Sounds like where my wife and I were last week…eastern TN…daffodils were blossoming; even some of the flowering crabapples. Then I returned to this…cold, sleet, even a few snowflakes a couple of days ago. Sigh!

04/09/2015 at 3:02 pm #2038589I played “Here Comes the Sun” just now. It did not work.
It’s still gloomy out there.
