FTP for Saturday!
04/18/2015 at 10:13 am #2038942Earth Day event in two hours then a drive to Bend and back: six hours on the road, to finally get my car back!

04/18/2015 at 11:21 am #2038943M&M weekend? Just guessing.
Canāt make it. The first one I will miss. Canāt afford the days off to get there and back unless I fly and it would be just me, and that suggestion would go over like a fart in church.I have no idea if it is M & M weekend. We tried to make it a summer thing, but people got too much going on for the summer. Weddings, family reunions, vacations, etc. So October 3 was decided.
If things change, let me know. I’ll have them send you an invitation with the details.

04/18/2015 at 3:23 pm #2038954We just received a stellar log on one of our hides…..”Stupid.” That’s it. Trekkin’ is in a mood to “edumacate” and writing off an email. If you think it’s stupid, tell us why. We can take it. But just….”stupid?” We’ve also been getting a few “tftc” logs with no photo on the Hyde’s Mill virtual we adopted from the Lil’ Otter. Makes us just want to run out and place more. *eye roll*
04/18/2015 at 4:01 pm #2038958Wow. I’ve run in to some not so great cache hides, but I would never think they were stupid. Wonder what the point of their caching is.
04/18/2015 at 4:09 pm #2038959It was the very first multi we hid, in an interesting little abandoned cemetery.
http://coord.info/GC13RDFWhatever, as they say. It’s not an amazing hide or spectacular place, but one in the country with some interesting history. Oh well.
04/18/2015 at 4:30 pm #2038960To me, just being in a little abandoned cemetery would make for a good log.
04/18/2015 at 4:37 pm #2038961While Trekkin’ is in an āedumacatingā mood, that same cacher with… 20 finds… posted a photo of the cemetery plaque that contains the answer for the one virtual he/she found. š The cacher’s partner (also of limited vocabulary) did the same thing. Sometimes even a knock on the noggin won’t get you anywhere…

Sounds like a log headed for the delete bucket

04/18/2015 at 6:04 pm #2038963You have to wonder if cachers think that caches are put out by Groundspeak or some other big entity. They must not realize that writing STUPID logs and not complying with certain cache requirement will get noticed by the individual amateur run-of-the-mill people who place and monitor the caches for others to find. Like Gwyn says… makes you want to run out and place more. š
NO HIDES = NO FINDS = NO GEOCACHING

I will also inquire of Noonan how his event went and if he got the Volt back.
