Granddaughter work up with a rash from head to toe. Doctor’s appointment confirmed she has Roseola. It sounds fairly harmless. It is viral and just had to run its’ course. Glad that we know what was going on.

amita17’s dad passed away yesterday. His obit is in the Post Crescent.

Condolences to Debby and her family. Thanks for letting us know.

Bummer for the granddaughter. Even knowing she’ll be okay, it’s so tough to see them like that. Hope it races through its course in record time.

Really sorry to hear about Deb’s dad…she’s had a lot of sadness in her life this past week:(

The first oriole sighting yesterday…another at the feeder today. No hummingbirds in Oconto yet though.

Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)

Speaking of birds….I just got home from a wonderful birding social hour at one of our favorite wineries, which included a great presentation on owls and hummingbirds. Tomorrow morning is a bird hike at the Trempealeau Refuge with that speaker leading it. Morning is going to be here way too soon!

My son, his wife, and their 2 kids (5 and 3) headed out at 4 AM for a weeks vacation…

in Myrtle Beach!

That should create some family memories!
