and Garmin wants to know if I have tried loading any OpenCaching caches insteadâŠ

did you ask âwhy would I want to do that?â
I basically said, “What caches?”
05/11/2015 at 7:25 am #2039681Going to the Brewers game tonight, and we were hoping to get in some area caching before the game, but with the fog and the predicted storms, we might just take our time leaving Sandland. Staying over, so maybe in the morning…
05/11/2015 at 7:56 am #2039682Howâs the hiking in Parfreyâs Glen since the boardwalk washed out?
It was fun. You have to cross the stream a couple of times â but makes for a fun adventure. Parfreyâs Glen defines natureâs beauty. Like my daughter said, âyou just donât expect to see that in Wisconsin.â
Gah! Iâve never gotten to go there! I stopped once after hiking at Devilâs Lake and the sign said no dogs and Coco was already in the car with me. I couldnât just leave her! Whatâs the best season to go?
Either now – as the stream is running well – or in the fall when the leaves are falling – these are two of my personal favorite times to hike Parfey’s – but then again is there any bad time? It is truly paradise!

05/11/2015 at 8:46 am #2039685From a few pages back…thanks for the condolences. It is a difficult time, particularly for my mother. Having people to count on for support is important. Nice to see this too from my online community đ
05/11/2015 at 8:50 am #2039686WGA silent auction goodies look great! Canât wait to start bidding.
I agree, lots of good stuff in there! My husband is especially excited about the deer pee.
I am not sure I wanna know how TNW collect it.

It  is kind of miserable here as far as the weather: cool, damp, light rain with fog.  At least, you do not have to worry about the game being cancelled.
Tonight is preview night for Annie, the latest performance for my older daughter. Â I get to see it three times this week. Â I really dislike Annie.
05/11/2015 at 10:05 am #2039693But you love your daughter, BBG. đ

Most Days.
I am happy for her. Â She seems to be really enjoying her last few weeks of middle school.

05/11/2015 at 11:17 am #2039696The tent caterpillars which have been missing from my yard for the last few years have returned. They went away shortly after we treated for the Gypsy Moth and I was hoping that they were gone for good.
Alas they are back and pitching their tents way too high for me to do much about it.
05/11/2015 at 11:38 am #2039697It’s almost official. I’m almost an Oregonian.
New drivers’ license is in the mail, they punched my WI one. New plates are coming too. They have motor/voter law, Â so I’m registered to vote finally.
Outside of the real world, in the stuff that really matters:
WI caches found: 355
Oregon caches found: 314
If I figure out what’s wrong with the car, I could pass my WI finds this week.
Spike is still my top CO of caches found, but it’s not going to be long before H2Oz passes him, then Miller0126. 6 of my top 10 are from out here now.
Alphanumeric Challenge is down to just caches starting with 0, 4, 5 and 9. I haven’t seen any of those come up in anything close to us. All but four are finds in WI.
CO Name challenge is down to 0, 1, 5, 7, 8, 9, Q and X. All of the current slots are filled by Midwestern COs except Y.
All but 7 of my well-rounded grid are from WI/MN/MI (one is a Todd hide!). Surprised to see one is a drive-by virtual in Nevada! One more spot filled gets me to 42/81
Only 5 of my top 20 oldest caches are from WI/MN. One is a virtual we grabbed on the way out here.
27 FTFs here on Saturday eclipsed my total in WI.
My jaunt down to CA last week got my 10th state.
Time to get back to work.

05/11/2015 at 11:43 am #2039698Debby – hugs to you and your mother.
I do not want to know about how that pee stuff was collected…that TMI….
Rain is good…everything is greening up…
Noonan….a milestone as you cross over from the midwest to the northwest….seems reason for a party!
Silent auction stuff, with the exception of the pee, looks great!
