Weirdness not present today. 🙂
12/07/2014 at 10:23 am #2032223I need to see if the entire cache is gone or just the bugs. I think I know who they are & sent them a nice email through GC to congratulate them on their first find and nudge them to SL and bring it back
The best sig is no sig.

A similar thing happened to our bug hotel. First cache found by these cachers and they traded SWAG for the “dog tags”. I sent a friendly e-mail but I didn’t hear back.
12/07/2014 at 2:35 pm #2032226Hope it gets straightened out, Noonan.
We have cut a tree. It is now standing in the house. I might get the lights on it yet today. It needs trimming and Trekkin’ is on the couch taking his daily nap. If it’s trimmed when I get back from candlelight yoga, I can see about lights and fake popcorn strings going on it.
12/07/2014 at 2:45 pm #2032227I should run down to Dexterville and see if GC5H7N0 is there yet. CO wrote up the cache page, but didn’t leave a cache at GZ because the cache has something valuable in it that he wants his girlfriend to be FTF on. After I DNFed it he contacted me and apologized, but said that the cache would be in place sometime this weekend. I wonder if she said yes.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
12/07/2014 at 3:03 pm #2032228We bought a fake tree this year. A little one that sits atop our fake fireplace. Concerned about what Bill would do to a Christmas tree.

12/07/2014 at 3:43 pm #2032229I don’t think Trekkin’ will ever give up on a tree we go out to cut. Northwoods boy, y’know.
Well, there was that year about 3-4 years back when he went all Scrooge on us and I finally put up our crummy Charlie Brown fake tree.

Glorified League of Retired Guys…I like that!

I just finished my nap too…am thinking of putting up the tree but I can’t move the furniture without my wife’s help and she’s being kinda Grinchy.
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
12/07/2014 at 7:31 pm #2032232Previous page login to post on the last page weirdness again. At least SL found the way around it. 🙂
12/07/2014 at 8:40 pm #2032237I would welcome some help in debugging the issue since I can’t re-create it or find any info on what might be causing it.
12/07/2014 at 10:28 pm #2032240Here is what I have experienced, though not all the time and not all at once….
* I log in, and the site doesn’t show that I’m logged in. I go to the forums anyway, and I show as logged in.
* I’m logged in, it shows that I’m logged in, I go to make a post on the current drivel page, and I am told that I can’t post unless I am logged in. I still show as logged in. I go to the previous page to make my comment, and there is a space to do that so I do. The comment shows up on the current page as a new comment (which it should).
* I’m not logged in, but I just want to see if there are any new posts. It shows that last post as being, say, by CTQ nine minutes ago. I go back in twenty minutes; it show that last post was by CTQ nine minutes ago.
* In the above situation, whether logged in or not, when I go into the forums, I see more posts… or not… and the time of the post makes it not that long ago. If I do the math, the time always seems to add up to the top of the hour: a post at 8:43 will say it was made 17 minutes ago… but it is maybe 10:36 when I am looking at it.

I can only give you the above anecdotal help… and a can of Raid.
12/07/2014 at 10:35 pm #2032242Sigh, where did the weekend go?
