I still log the old fashioned way – by typing in the GC code on GC.COM and typing my log on the computer.
I never use my phone to log caches in the field.
And I’m surprised people are still doing FTP’s even though stats are not kept anymore lol.

We’ve had our share of nasty weather camping. A couple tornados, lightning striking the road in front of our tent and floods kind of left us less than nostalgic for foul weather camping.

Todd I log almost all of my caches in the field – sort of. I use the geocaching app to log a field note, whether a found it log or a DNF. It sends it to Groundspeak as a note, waiting for me when I log online at home. When I then go to geocaching.com, all of my notes are waiting for me, in the proper order and time stamped, and then I can log each one with wordy paragraphs and pictures (if applicable). I don’t generally log a cache (other than field notes) from my phone unless it’s an FTF.

05/14/2015 at 7:25 pm #2039810Here are the FTP stats Todd. https://www.google.com/url?q=http://wi-geocaching.com/the-squirrel-rocks&sa=X&ei=2RZVVbXtAoemNp6ugaAJ&ved=0CAMQygIwAA&usg=AFQjCNFIfCwseqINEcjV5TU1JPiTF-ArXg
I’m at unlucky number 13, I guess that I should do something about that.

We’re all packed and ready to go. Just need to work 5 hours tomorrow. If we’re lucky we may get to leave work early.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
05/14/2015 at 9:00 pm #203981505/14/2015 at 9:27 pm #2039816I just arrived home from opening night of Annie. I teased the wife that I have to drive to all the rehearsals and lessons, but she gets to go to the post show ice cream party. I had to bring the tired one home.
Thank you birdin’ I have never seen two of those warblers before.
I thought I would be able to visit the campout for the Sunday Breakfast, but my schedule with work and the play are not going to allow it. I hope you all have a great time.
05/14/2015 at 10:14 pm #2039817One log written, 53 to go. Wrote “sandlanders” forty times yesterday. Surprised I didn’t break a leg or twist an ankle at the WGA cache at Lakeshore SP. Visited lots of cemeteries but found only dead relatives and no containers. Going for the FTP.
05/14/2015 at 10:14 pm #2039818One more post…
05/14/2015 at 10:15 pm #2039819… and off to bed.
