We just rototilled some of the dust so that we can plant this year’s rabbit food, and in the process, we most likely planted several hundred new maple trees.
I love this post, because it is so true.

I came up with a solution to that years ago…now I mow it:)

05/18/2015 at 5:59 pm #2039917It’s amazing how many little maple trees I end up pulling from any of my gardens. Hopefully I haven’t missed any so far. They’re kind of tough to get out later on!
05/18/2015 at 6:16 pm #2039918Picked up our 2 Silent Auction geocoins from the Prez today. Happy dance!
05/18/2015 at 7:37 pm #2039922Another day like today and I’m over 800.
Climbed a huge hill only to find the micro up there is gone. Going 3/4 on Weyerhaeuser Hill today cost me a dozen finds. Pissy rain the whole way too so the view wasn’t good either. As I was halfway up and dealing with a sliced tennis ball container that may have been a cache at one point, got an email about a new cache in town, 2 miles was as the crow flies, similar to our WGA state park hides, only done by the county (as an aside, this county is probably bigger than any in WI but isn’t the biggest in OR. The county caches never seem to get more than a few miles from the county seat though). Never got there because my phone died 5 caches away from where it was.
19 finds and 5 DNF along the way. 18 to get to 800The best sig is no sig.
05/18/2015 at 7:55 pm #2039923My daughter has become the school expert on geocaching and given a few presentations. She has led a mini-course and they administration is trying to get her to start a club and lead it.

05/18/2015 at 9:00 pm #2039925The hard part I have with caching and school is that the need to leave campus to do it.
I have almost every legal spot in town filled but we can’t leave campus to look for them. 🙁The best sig is no sig.
05/18/2015 at 9:04 pm #2039926Spike007 is now tied for top CO of my finds with H2Oz. I also got my OR drivers license in the mail today.
Picked off 5 D/T combos this week I needed. 3 more gets me to 49. Not many more local caches to fill what I need. Saving a T5 that is close to where I got lost last weekend for the summer souvenirs. The T is just because of the long hike, not elevation change or water. The best sig is no sig.
05/18/2015 at 9:57 pm #2039928My son had a great hit in his baseball game tonight. Woo hoo! He hits hard during practice but usually gets so nervous in games that he strikes out. He made it to third but then the next batters struck out so he didn’t get a run. Too bad. But still, I’m proud of him for making some progress.
