05/29/2015 at 11:26 am #2040190Someone here just HAS to go look for caches today. Someone else is saying…”why?” See you all later. Sigh.
05/29/2015 at 1:21 pm #20401937.5 mile multi cache….DNF because the cache owner put the wrong equation on the cache page. This is why I am not a FTF hound.
I want to see the Imitation Game. I saw Whiplash the other day and loved it. My goals is to see all of the 2015 Oscar nominated films by Oscar’s 2016.
05/29/2015 at 6:55 pm #2040195Think I have a one find wonder cache. Guy that found it said farm hand saw him and it was gone when he checked on it.
The best sig is no sig.
05/29/2015 at 7:43 pm #2040196BBG … by wrong equation, do you mean the third one? We’re headed for MKE tomorrow and I didn’t have anything in mind and that one looked interesting but the 3rd one has me confused.
05/29/2015 at 8:24 pm #2040197So…..this FTF stuff is just getting ridiculous. There was a new cache in LaCrosse at a Little Free Library. Someone posted a note early this morning that they took a quick look in the rain and didn’t find it, hope it’s actually been placed.
So, after Pooh’s Pal left, we went out to get one in town here and met the MASKinWI family looking for it, too. Decided we’d all go down to look for the LFL, which is really neat and I know the builder. Anyway, we look in the logbook and an area cacher had the FTF, but the people who posted their “couldn’t find it” note had come back and written their name in above the FTF place, with 3:50AM. The true FTF’s log says the logbook was empty when she signed it, so it was confusing. The onliine note was changed to a “FTF” note. Really. This is just nonsense.
Then….we helped a new cacher at the cache where we’d met MASK in the first place, because they couldn’t find it. Their log says they pretended they didn’t find it and helped us. I keep saying…..this is just getting too silly. It was not a FTF or anything like that. The coordinates were off and they were wandering (like probably everyone who goes looking for it will be) and we’d already found it and were just standing there visiting.

05/30/2015 at 6:18 am #2040201Just scored a brand new $54 pair of Levi’s for $18.90!
Sale on the sale price. Woo-hoo!
Nice. I’m not a big brand name person. Give me a pair of $15 Wranglers and I’m happy as two pigs rolling in mud.
I always shake my head when I hear people say they spend $50-100 for a pair of jeans.
05/30/2015 at 6:21 am #2040202So…..this FTF stuff is just getting ridiculous.
Yes, it is. Remember the two teams of geocachers that did the “3 caches in 7 states” challenge just for the FTF? Now that was ridiculous LOL.
05/30/2015 at 8:05 am #2040203I’m going hodag hunting today.

Yup, that’s why it doesn’t really matter to me anymore. I just want to cache when I want and where I want, regardless of when a cache was published. Maybe I’m just stubborn.

I just watched it, it’s amazing. The ending is just so sad though! I feel I can say this as it’s based on a true story and we all know how it ends anyway.
