Check the string, replace the duds, put it up…doesn’t work now! Plug it back in on the floor, it appears a bunch of lights on half the string blew…now we’re replacing those.

Christmas is the season of miracles. We experienced a minor miracle ourselves yesterday. We were putting the outside lights up on the front porch, and all of them checked out OK… of course. Then, once they were all up, the second half of the second string was out. We decided not to mess with things, since this would be the bottom rail and wouldn’t look too bad unlit. However, we carefully pushed in the non-lit bulbs one by one, and… poof! They lit up! Hands off from then on till it’s time to take them all down.

Like I said… a minor miracle.

That was kind of the theme of the day here, SL. Many rounds between us and the lights. The minor miracle here was that we just gave up and went to Target…twice. We prevailed in the end.

TBC, you can log in as me and see if it behaves the same for you. I can’t log in when in the TS forum unless I am at least 2 pages back. It’s OK if I log in from the “home” page and then go into the TS forum. Like I said before, not really a problem since I know what is happening now.

Two 7th graders were standing on the top rock and noticed it rocks. They found the cache & read the “found it by mistake” note and actually followed the directions except they took it with them to have the information they need to log it since it was their first find.
They created an account and logged it. Then they put it back and hid it better than it was!

They talked to me about it before school today and wanted to know how to find more without a GPS or phone. All I could say was get an idea where it is from the coords and Google maps.
