Sunny and 80s today, as it’s been all week. Monday is cloudy and rain, highs in the 60s. Temp should stay there all week.
Finding one cache tomorrow fills the days for this month, that will be two so far.

Just got back from a week’s fishing trip in Chetek…only two caches found…one at the boat landing and the other at the Cadott Veteran’s Tribute where we stopped for breakfast on the way back…lots of fish in the freezer though:)

We had a caching day today, my husband is driving home now. We found woodcarver Dan’s gadget caches in Rhinelander, one of the oldest caches in the state, and a few WI oddities. It was great to get out and explore today!

I worked 12 hours today.  I am now drinking a very tasty beer that is putting me to sleep Ale Asylum Ambergeddon ( I work for their distributor).  Beccaday. I saw that you were at the Minocqua brew house.  I had a great flight there a few years ago.  Enjoy.

Thinking of heading to Sprague River and Chiloquin tomorrow. Just can’t seem to find out if there’s a gas station in other place that sells premium. 🙁

My day was a mix of driving and enjoying lots of dulcimer stuff. I guess tomorrow is going to involve driving and caching. I am hoping some birding, too, but someone else is kind of hot to make more finds. 🙁

A little research and reaching out to locals tells me the casino south of Chiloquin sells premium. 54 miles taking the route there without cache side trips means I am good to go for tomorrow’s trip.
I am predicting a call from my wife asking what I am doing mid route.

My husband and I worked on a flight together there too and it was yummy!  Oh, and their beer and cheese soup was amazing!

Today would have been a much better day to go to MKE.

Well, we did go to Milwaukee today, but I must remind myself never to try a big city with Trekkin’. We’d planned on a lot more, but the road construction and aggressive driving that cut off our ability to get to the needed exit had us just hang it up and go right back home.

No new bird. No Sheridan Park. But….we have completed the WGA State Park series, so it’s all good!
