No rain yet at the Sandcastle. Mr. S headed out on his bicycle almost two hours ago, and he hasn’t called for a pick-up, so he must be staying dry. The radar shows color in the area, but not where his planned route is. To be honest, I thought he wouldn’t even get his six-mile route in, much less a 20+ one.

06/28/2015 at 4:33 pm #2040889We just got back from the east side of sandland, if it extends to Wautoma (CTY Y & 21) that is. It rained buckets for the 4 hours we were sitting around and grilling in the garage. Still sprinkling until we hit Princeton around 3.
06/28/2015 at 4:40 pm #2040890Here’s something weird. We had a little more rain this morning and it seems to look threatening again right now. My potted plants are all watered just fine, with the exception of the ones on the deck.
Like it rained behind the house, but not next to it????
06/28/2015 at 4:40 pm #2040891And on the fourth day….we watched a movie. The Lego Movie. TV is basically not an option at Grandma’s house, so this was a big deal for someone!
06/28/2015 at 6:37 pm #2040892We had rain twice today according to the radar. According to the ground we had 0. Highs this week in excess of 100 almost every day.
We may decide to see the ocean for a few days. First time! No clue how soon or for how long.

06/28/2015 at 8:27 pm #2040895Bill had a reaction to his vaccination. Poor dog has been stiff and sore for the past two days. Yesterday he wouldn’t even sit or lay down. He just kept walking around until he got so tired he basically collapsed. Took him back to the vet today, even though he seems better. She said to give him an aspirin. Now he’s sleeping on my feet.
Wow! We do have a lot in common. I feel like that almost every day before I take my 2 Alleve.
06/28/2015 at 8:29 pm #2040896I suppose I could get away with it with Mr. Greenthumb in a tent and away from the forums…

06/28/2015 at 8:32 pm #2040897I wonder how things are going around Mr. GT’s campfire…
There was popcorn and s’mores and then the raccoons came. Since two of the grandsons are 5 and 7 there had to be ghost stories. I didn’t care. They weren’t sleeping in my tent.
06/28/2015 at 8:35 pm #2040898Wonder if Mister GT is back from camping yet…
We left by 11:00 this morning since it looked like it might rain and everything was nice and dry for packing up. Got a flat tire on the trailer 1/4 mile from home. The valve broke off.
