Not only do we have to put up with the big terrorist and the three mini-terrorists in the yard, but now Sandland is being invaded by another group…. TOURISTS! Yes, they are not waiting for the weekend to descend upon the local stores and thoroughfares.

Received our Element Travel Tag today. Now…what to attach to it.

The kids are feeding the terrorists while the wife and I are at work.  The come to the kids when they are outside.  Sorry about the Tourists.  They will be gone Monday at least.  We are staying home.  I have to work.

I just signed up to do yoga tomorrow night…on a standup paddleboard in Lake Neshonoc.

What was I thinking? *eye roll*

You were thinking just how much fun that would be, Birdin’.

I got thoroughly dirty while out caching today.

Topped 100 again today. Huge hole in my caching calendar at the end of June through the 4th. This could be why!
Found two good spots for hides though. Going to work with my daughter on a tougher puzzle hide once her attitude improves. 14.5 is not fun when it is hot, she is crabby and not sleeping because of potential earwigs in the house.

I have used over three million characters in my cache logs (573,000+ words). 🙄

Cool stats, I never thought of looking that up before.  Here’s what I gleaned from project-gc.com:

Total words: 721,400, Average: 119, (Total characters: 3,758,766)
                  Longest: GC5FZ6W 718, Shortest: GC4MGD4 1

Well, if we’re talking average now, we have 164. 😀 😛

I’m wondering if those stats were just on the “Found It” logs, since some of ours go so long that we have to divide them into log-and-note to get everything we want to say in.

But I still have “more posts than finds”… 😈

Changing the subject here…SL wondered the other day if a person found a highly favorited D5 cache, would they get both souvenirs? I wandered over to the GS forums and a person posted that they had found a high favorite cache in a new state. They got the state souvenir but not the road trip one.

                      So there you have it.

Got bad news on Bill yesterday. We’re going to have to take him to either Appleton or Madison for an MRI. The vet thinks he has shunting in his liver. Depending on results of the MRI it could mean surgery to correct. He doesn’t show any symptoms now, but over time it can cause seizures and other problems.
