Just got in from doing our last frog survey of the year. Lots of green frogs and bullfrogs, with a few leftover gray tree frogs and Cope’s tree frogs.

07/05/2015 at 11:57 pm #2041051Looked at a house today just outside of town. As in you can see downtown from the front porch. Used to be a stagecoach stop!
6 acres of land. In between two of my caches, with room for one at the driveway.
The current owner is a teacher that just retired. I worked plenty of sports games next to her. Hope that counts for something.

Following the signals from space.
07/06/2015 at 7:28 am #2041055If you’re there and have time, look for Lake Lanier, too. One of only three 8/00 caches in the US. Whatever you do, have fun!

I’ll have to put that one on the list for our GA trip in August … if we actually get to go.

07/06/2015 at 8:51 am #2041057Woke this morning to the sound of thunder, how far off, I sat and wondered.
The sky opened up around 8:15. Rained buckets for about 25 minutes. Now it’s lightened up.

07/06/2015 at 1:40 pm #2041067So a place in Minoqua lists the paddleboard I want. We go through that area fairly often. In fact, in less than two weeks we’ll be heading that way. Guess what? “Out of stock”. 🙁
On the flip side, I’m working out arrangements to have our black walnut turned into a dulcimer. For barter. The builder lives in Ohio, but his sister is in Chicago. We can do that! He would love to get this log we had cut, and won’t need all of it for my dulcimer.
