This question is for our “golden agers.”  Trekkin’ got his letter from Social Security exactly three months before he turns that magic age.  I am now one week over that timeframe and still no letter.

Our local carrier has messed up more than once with important things like this.  I’m not crazy about the prospect that my ssid is sitting in someone else’s pile of mail.  Do I put out the APB yet?  Thanks

Thanks for the advice!  I suppose you might see me on TV but there are supposed to be hundreds of kayaks and canoes.  I will be in a voyageur canoe, so a bigger one, not sure how many in it.  Hopefully if you see me, I will be in a canoe and not in the water!

Life. Sigh. We’d made plans to cache our way up to Trekkin’s parents’ cabin tomorrow….again. (Last time it was a flat tire). Well…..the alternate daycare has fallen through due to the lady’s need to get some chiropractic help.

Among other frustrations. Sigh. Some day we might actually hope to function like other retired couples. If our bodies don’t completely fall apart before then.

We are at a point where we may just go cold turkey and quit caching.  Leads to bickering, high gas bills and other stuff.  Trekkin’ has to quit completely or not at all, that’s his temperament .  Biggest dilemma is Spirit Rock virtual.

Found a 4/5 today that was more like a 2/1.5. Not sure where the T5 comes from at all. Altoids tin under a rock along the edge of a two track trail.
Yes, I know I found it too early, but I was in the area. There are two more T5s along the same trail so this was more of a scouting and placing mission today.
Hitting the Hogsback tomorrow before a meet and greet event. Should get two souvenirs in one day.
