Noonan, it’s 6:00 a.m. where you are. What are you doing up so early?

If someone wants to hunt lions, I hear Milwaukee would be a great spot to start.

On second thought maybe dentists with poaching records in Wisconsin might want to steer clear of Milwaukee.

I actually accomplished something….made pesto to freeze with my basil.  Now to get some dill for refrigerator pickles.  The farm share has us loaded with goodies.  Doesn’t help that I wasn’t around to cook the past two weekends. I handed some off to my son the other night.

Mom and I picked about 25 lbs of green beans this morning.

Jim, just wondering about Bill.  You don’t have to share, just wanted you to know we’re thinking of him.

              Thanks Gwyn,

We have decided not to go forth with any more testing or the surgery that the tests might indicate. Instead we have altered his diet and will be monitoring his liver functions with our local vet. We’ve talked to several friends in the Marshfield Kennel Club who are in the field of veterinary medicine, and all agreed that this was the course of action that they would take. Ultimately this may result in Bill having a shortened life, but the risks of surgery are great enough that we feel it is the right path.

One of the terrorists gave birth to three still born terrorists under the swing set in my yard.  Kind of sad, but also another evil act by the terrorists that I have to clean up.

I should not be laughing at BBG’s post…but I am.

I hope the girls were spared witnessing all this, BBG.

I’m laughing at BBG’s post also.

Jim, I agree, based on what I read.

Son’s family dog (golden retriever) has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia.  She’s only 8 yrs.  They didn’t make sure parents were OFA certified.

Back from the Oskosh library. We listened to a historian give a presentation on the history of the USS Indianapolis, which was torpedoed 70 years ago today. From the delivery of “The Bomb” to the captain committing suicide in 1968, it was very interesting.

Did they mention that Quint from “Jaws” was on the Indianapolis? 😉 That’s the story he told on the boat while they were waiting for the shark.

Went through the wormhole the first time I tried that post just now. Haven’t done that for a while.
