Dogs got up early today.
Picked off a stumper cache today by not using GPS and just walking to where I would hide it. I hate pine cone caches. The best sig is no sig.

07/31/2015 at 2:38 am #2041773Yes, Robert Shaw’s infamous, hungover, sea sick monologue was mentioned…one of my all-time favorite movie scenes, SL!
07/31/2015 at 6:09 am #2041774I hope the girls were spared witnessing all this, BBG.
No, they were gone today. BTW my parents take them to $5 movie Tuesday every week. They have seen Jurassic World every Tuesday for the last month. Hannah has always loved Dinosaurs. I am even more excited to see a Hardcover copy of Jurassic park from “my bookshelf” on the end table with a pink bookmark sticking out.
07/31/2015 at 7:24 am #2041775Day 5 of re-flooring the house. Hoping that we finish it today. Laundry room and two bathrooms are all that are left.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
07/31/2015 at 8:03 am #2041776I’m in Colorado!
Where in Colorado?
I’m staying with my parents in Loveland for a few more days, although today we’re going to Rocky Mountain National Park and hiking. In a few more days we’ll be going to Mesa Verde. I’m so excited!

07/31/2015 at 8:20 am #2041777Wonder if Noonan is using any of those bot Brain Boosters… 🙄 😉
Say “hi” to Rocky for us, Becca!
Heading out to see if the beer men can tame the little bears tonight. Staying over in the area, so I hope the lion doesn’t get us… or a dentist… or any of BBG’s terrorists.
BTW, BBG, you know your girls keep watching the dino movie because they want to get that running-in-heels thing down pat. 😉
07/31/2015 at 12:35 pm #2041783Oh, the joys of occasional home canning. All I want to do is make a batch of refrigerator dills. I just got done crawling (literally) to find the canning jars I want tucked away under the basement stairs. Accessed by crawling up onto a narrow benchwall space.
Now, I know I bought a box of lids and rings two years ago when I last did this. Where in the world are THEY????
This process will take longer than the actually canning part.
07/31/2015 at 12:59 pm #2041784RMNP is awesome, Becca…have been there a couple of times. We planned on visiting Mesa Verde one year…happened to be the year of the big fires there and they closed the park down…ended up spending the time in Durango instead. There are some fascinating things to see in that area too!
Am not too serious about watching the Brewers any more this year after yesterday…Nelson deserved a win. I don’t understand how they can build a team by trading away their best players!?? At least the start of Packer training camp will give us something to look forward to:)Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
07/31/2015 at 2:44 pm #2041785Trekkin’ had lost interest in the Brew Crew about early June, waiting for Packer training camp!
Five jars of pickles are waiting for the brine to cool, be poured and capped. Could have done a couple more, but I was running out of good dill and garlic. The dill I bought yesterday was surprisingly disappointing.
07/31/2015 at 7:11 pm #2041787Friday night in the drivel thread….
