I stopped talking to the POLITE Pirate too

Does this page count as a palindrome page?

Even though the 5pm weather lady was saying that the Western end of her viewing area was approaching one inch of rain, I had 1.4″ by 11am and had several showers after that.

It was a good day to twist limbs.

The palindrome pages in the 100s aren’t as fun as the ones in the 1000s. However, 393 was my parents’ house number for years and years, so I’m getting in on it.

I learned something absolutely amazing last night. Sit down and get a beverage.

So, you guys may recall I got into photography at a young age, at my dad’s side, using a 4 X 5 Graflex press camera. I now own that camera. When Mom and Dad were moving house, various boxes of stuff got grabbed by my brother, who finally went through some of them when they sold their own home recently. One item of interest was the flash gun that goes with this camera. Now, I know this sounds pretty pedestrian, until….

Apparently this flash gun is what was used to make the light saber prop in the original Star Wars movie. My other brother was a Star Wars psycho nut, so brother with the junk asks him if he wants it. No, it should go to Gwyn, she has the camera. I’m still pushing for him to get it, because he’s a rocket scientist and could probably build his own functioning light saber with the darn thing.

If a person looks on ebay, these things, when listed as “light saber prop,” are selling for anywhere from 250-800 bucks! Same item listed as what it actually is….50 bucks. Crazy!
