I found two survey marker discs yesterday in Port Washington along the breakwater. Neither is listed as a benchmark at geocaching.com, so I guess I can’t log them. Not sure why they wouldn’t be listed.

Speaking of the micro, I screwed that one up and it was only 317 feet from the other cache I placed along the trail. There was a curve I didn’t account for when calculating distances, so I have to leap frog it over GC5H3DJ (not sure if that will show up yet)

I remember taking a photo of a couple there a long time ago by the marina and was curious why they were not listed as a benchmarks. If I remember correctly they were just before or past the metal grated walkway.

I have a few fun memories of that place. We used to live close to the marina before kids. Mrs. BBG and I spent a lot of time walking those break walls spring and summer mornings before the older one was born. Most of the time we would have a Webb’s Breakfast after, I do not think the Webb’s is still there.
