08/17/2015 at 11:09 am #2042200Only way I can get ’em.
I am now done with one third of the EarthCaches we found on our first day. Ā I’m trying to spin this so it doesn’t sound so daunting! Ā Time for a break from that stuff. Ā Someone who shall remain nameless (WT) rates their cache logging by how many glasses of wine are needed. Ā I need a case for this trip!
08/17/2015 at 11:28 am #2042201I just dropped our granddaughter off for her first day of drama camp. Pretty excited little girl. Weāll be attending a production of āThe Wizard of Ozā later this week and looking for our favorite Munchkin.
Oh! You’re coming to Oconto? The Wizard will be so happy:)
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
08/17/2015 at 11:34 am #2042202We really do want to get up there and do those sometime. Our trip last spring didn’t give us the time we needed. Ā They deserve their own bike ride, minus Toto, of course!
08/17/2015 at 1:16 pm #2042204I don’t really understand how the lab caches work…are they actually just temporary caches?Ā I thought these were a thing of the past.Ā Do they count on your find total?Ā I logged one but it isn’t on my profile of finds.
08/17/2015 at 2:00 pm #2042205Lab caches give you a unique icon in your profile but do not count towards finds.

08/17/2015 at 2:43 pm #2042206Only 31 more EarthCaches to log. How do I do the āshockedā face emoticon? This is going to take me forever.
Wow!Ā I don’t think I have quite that many but I still have plenty!Ā It may take all week.

08/17/2015 at 3:14 pm #2042207Just finished logging our weekend finds. No EarthCaches.

Lab Caches DO count to your total finds. they do not show up in your logs list.
Lab Caches are a special type of cache that is only available to log for a short time. the WBCB Lab caches had to be “logged” by 8/16 though they were only available to be “found” during the bash (or part of the bash).

I suppose they count for labzone, too.

08/17/2015 at 6:36 pm #2042212Last night, I missed supper to attend a volleyball rules meeting in town. The meeting boiled down to: we need more refs, be careful of the width of the stripes on uniforms and make sure the libero has a contrasting uniform
Managed to miss finding a cache before the meeting because I was too hurried to make the meeting and too out of breath after climbing a hill.

08/17/2015 at 6:38 pm #2042213Meetings all week this week before the official inservice meetings next week.
Managed to go 1-1-1 on caches today. Found one, DNF one and couldn’t get the car past rocks on top of a mountain this morning.
